Seriously, though. I WANT TO LIVE THEREEEEEEEEE. I may be insane, which if you're still reading this, I don't know how you haven't picked up on that fact yet. Hopefully you'll stay, but you probably won't. I don't mind. (EXCEPT I DO)
Everything has been moved out. Except for this computer. I still want to go live in that hole. Rather than Japan. It looks so cozy. The hole. Not Japan. *hugs the darling house* I'm seriously going to draw this or make it in Minecraft. AND THEN DO WHATEVER MY HEART DESIRES WITH IT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
As you can guess, I have had too much caffeine this morning. So much so that I forgot how to spell "caffeine." I can't have coffee because of the fact that I can easily have too much, but I love Starbucks. But I can't have it. But then I woke up too early, courtesy of little brother. Yay. Babies are so nice.
And I stayed up too late. It's all in a days work. Being killed by th0se meese, and 0ther such things. Saving Munarvagir (haven't actually successfully done that yet. Merrrp.), catching pokémon, aaaaaand:
GETTING NEW BOOKS

That took me four minutes to choose that font. Not counting that minute in which I chose to check my email, but there you are. I finally used my Amazon gift card and got a bunch of books for the flight! (From my kind orthodontist who rewards people for having braces ... did I mention that I woke up because of my braces? Little guy just kept me from going back to sleep.)
I got Orphan's Song (Gillian Bronte Adams), The Language Construction Kit (Mark Rosenfelder), Idylls of the Queen (Phyllis Ann Karr), Anne of Ingleside (L.M. Montgomery), Anne of Windy Poplars (Same), Fire and Hemlock (Dianna Wynne Jones), and The Savage Damsel and the Dwarf (Gerald Morris).
It's too soon to be sure if I'll be happy with my purchases, but I spent several hours in doing so. Hopefully all goes well. At least 4/7 I know I'll be satisfied with. I've read three of them (AoI, AoWP, TSDatD), and Dianna Wynne Jones has not failed me yet. Tam Lin, for pete's sake! One of my favorite stories.
Orphan's Song has been recommended to me, as well as being added to my TBR of my own accord. The other two have just been on my TBR list for a few months. (WHYYYYY DOES THE LIBRARY NOT HAVE A COPY OF FIRE AND HEMLOCK?) Ahhh, my TBR list. I need to go through and cull it, as my standards are pretty high. I go through and read all reviews, positive and negative, weigh it carefully, and then add. Or I don't.
But some things don't look as good looking back on them. Like those books which were added a few years ago ... why did they ever make it on there again? And yes, I will review them all, but I'm working my way through The Complete Anne of Green Gables. You want to know how long my Kindle says it takes me to read the whole thing? 23 hours, and 27 minutes. And I have 7 hours, and 27 minutes left in the book. 16 hours down!
Kindles are amazing. I don't like reading on screens, but the kindle actually works for me. I can carry so many books with me but it's so light. I do like scaring people with my super heavy books, though, haha. It's a great sport, you know.
I smile o'er the wrinkled blue--
Lo! the sea is fair,
Smooth as the flow of a maiden's hair;
And the welkin's light shines through
Into mid-sea caverns of beryl hue,
And the little waves laugh and the mermaids sing,
And the sea is a beautiful, sinuous thing!
I scowl in sullen guise--
The sea grows dark and dun,
The swift clouds hide the sun
But not the bale-light in my eyes,
And the frightened wind as it flies
Ruffles the billows with stormy wing,
And the sea is a terrible, treacherous thing!
When moonlight glimmers dim
I pass in the path of the mist,
Like a pale spirit by spirits kissed.
At dawn I chant my own weird hymn
And I dabble my hair in the sunset's rim,
And I call to the dwellers along the shore
With a voice of gramarye evermore.
And if one for love of me
Gives to my call an ear,
I will woo him and hold him dear,
And teach him the way of the sea,
And my glamor shall ever over him be;
Though he wander afar in the cities of men
He will come at last to my arms again.
